Peter Sternhagen
Pricing Analyst
Peter joined MCA in May of 2023 as a Pricing Analyst, where he assists clients by helping them to further utilize data to understand the performance of their product portfolio. Peter is responsible for transforming quote, loss, and production data in support of client activities and recommending actionable insights clients can use to benefit business performance. He helps clients understand the impact of rate changes on policyholders, while actively monitoring both top and bottom-line results.
Prior to joining MCA, Peter graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Economics. Since then, Peter has pursued his passion for statistics to enhance his coding skillset, while gaining experience leveraging data in Python, a tool that has opened new prospects for the MCA team.
When he isn’t manipulating large datasets, Peter enjoys cooking and eating exotic foods, listening to music, and letting the performances of his UConn Huskies and Seattle Seahawks define his mood for the given week.
