Rahul Paleja

Principal & Actuary

Rahul joined MCA in January 2024 as Principal & Actuary to build out our actuarial capabilities and offerings. With a diverse background in actuarial pricing and reserving roles, Rahul will utilize his technical expertise to produce actionable insights from traditional actuarial analyses.

Prior to joining MCA, Rahul spent two years with Uber on their US insurance pricing team where he made significant contributions as a nontraditional actuary. He utilized his analytical prowess to price out Transportation Network Company auto insurance in a number of the most complex states. Additionally, he determined insurance implications for new products that are on the market today. Rahul also played a pivotal role in securing significant cost savings by negotiating actuarial rates with some of the largest P&C carriers in the market. This, coupled with his extensive experience at The Hartford in both reserving and pricing roles for commercial lines, positions him as a valuable asset to drive strategic growth at MCA.

When he’s not working, Rahul is busy travelling and exploring new lands, usually warmer ones. He is learning to rebuild his motorcycle in time to ride during the Northeast summer.
